Gratitude Is Global (and Hopeful)!

Gratitude Is Global (and Hopeful)!

Although Thanksgiving is predominately celebrated as holidays in North America (USA and Canada), its themes of joining together, sharing, and gratitude has meaning to people everywhere. Most of us celebrate some level of abundance, but for those who have the very least, a helping hand could mean everything.

Over 1.2 billion people worldwide live on less than $1.25 per day and 3 million children die from malnutrition. For those who survive, illiteracy often prevents them from achieving better standards of living than their parents. One billion people worldwide are still unable to read or write.

This is why it is important for those of us who are blessed with abundance to show gratitude by sharing with others. Not only will they be grateful to receive if your generosity and kindness, but in giving we bless ourselves as well. As our founder, Dr. Pillai says, “Feeding hungry people brings happiness and blessings.” Showing gratitude is the quickest way to dissolve karma.

It doesn’t take much to fill the heart of a child or an elderly person with gratitude and Hope by giving what is most needed for success and survival.

Right now, only $9 per month covers the costs of tutoring, lessons, materials and daily mini meals for a child within a Hope Learning Center. For only $300 per month, you can sponsor an entire Center of 40 children!

For only $40 per month, you can feed, clothe, comfort and provide companionship to a poor elderly person.

A one-time donation of any size could help feed or educate a child or elderly person today!
