I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting beautiful Girls Town but I did have the good fortune of visiting Boys Town when I was in India. That experience has stuck with me throughout the years as one of the single most heart warming, inspiring parts of the visit. It is clear to see, when you look into the eyes of the boys at Boys Town, that they are over-flowing with gratitude. There is a sense of joy and peace that radiates from them. They do not seem to take life for granted at all. Sharing time with them opened my heart tremendously and reminded me at a very deep level what is truly important during our short time on this planet.
I am looking forward to visiting Girls Town for sure on my next trip to India. Somehow I know it will be equally inspirational and another huge opening of the heart!
