Future Policeman, Engineer, or Artist?

Future Policeman, Engineer, or Artist?

N. Venkatesh is in 7th grade. He would like to become a policeman one day, but, unknown to him, he would also make an exceptional engineer or artist!

Right now, he has two sisters. His father and mother work as day laborers. They are both illiterate and earn low wages. To make matters more challenging, his father would spend all his money on drinking.

Fortunately, after Venkatesh joined our HoPE Learning Center, his teachers counseled his father and convinced him to seek help to stop drinking. We are hoping this change will be permanent.

Presently, Venkatesh is at the top of his class. He always scores ‘A’ grades in every subject.  He also thrives in sports and games at the HoPE Center, at school, and recreationally with friends. He is interested in law enforcement because he is physically active and he would like to solve the problems of traffic congestion. Between academic and social activities, he makes a lot of handy household items from the waste materials that he grabs from a local dump.

It doesn’t take much to increase the odds of future success for a special child, like Venkatesh. Right now, only $9 a month covers the costs of HoPE Center sponsorship, tutoring, lessons, materials, and daily mini meals. For only $300 a month, you can sponsor an entire HoPE Learning Center filled with 40 children with fabulous futures!
