Diwali is the festival of lights. It is a five-day celebration that highlights the triumph of goodness over evil, light over darkness, and hope over despair. It is a joyous occasion associated with prosperity. Four hundred million Indians live on less than $0.64 per day. How can children feel the joy and hope that Diwali brings?

Tripura Foundation’s 101 HoPE Centers empower 4,040 children through educational and feeding programs.

This year, we want to give our children a Diwali they will never forget.

We give:

• Salwar Kameez (beautiful dresses) for girls. Shirt and pant for boys
• A Grand Sweets Feast
• Children will select three Elders to share in their festivities
• These three Elders will receive clothing too – Sari for women and Dothi for men
