International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
During this holiday, Hope Learning Center children of both genders made posters on famous women’s personalities. They searched for pictures and referred to books in their school library. Some children also narrated life biographies of famous women personalities. The girls and boys were inspired after learning various things through this activity.
It doesn’t take much to bring Hope and education to girls and boys. Right now, only $10 per month covers the costs of Hope Center sponsorship, tutoring, lessons, materials, daily mini meals and world knowledge during special holidays, like International Women’s Day. For only $350 per month, you can sponsor an entire Hope Learning Center filled with 40 children.
